2024 HOOBY’S CORNTOBEERFEST RECAP:
We hope you enjoyed all of the weekend of the fun, live music, games, and of course, the wiener dog race!!!
Whether you came one day or both, we want to thank everyone that participated as entertainment, vendor, guest, contest player, wiener dog, and everything else!
This event doesn't just happen, it takes a lot of sweat, hard work, and hours to get it organized and make the property both functional and beautiful! Thank you to our family members that have spent countless hours improving the farm to the condition it was this weekend, and to our hard working crew from setting up, working in the heat, and cleaning up! We are already thinking of ways to improve for next year!

Hooby’s 2023 CorntoBEERfest Recap
Thank you to all that participated to make this a fantastic CorntoBEERfest!!
A great time was had by all! We had about a dozen vendors with a variety of goodies for sale, two cornhole tournaments (competitive and social), BBQ from West Plainfield Fire Station, wood fired pizza, skydivers landing at the farm, and a bunch of games throughout the afternoon! We can’t wait to do it again next year! Here’s a little recap of the event:
Vendors:
We know how time consuming and how much prep, set-up, clean-up, and just being present, goes into being a vendor at an event, so HUGE thanks to all of our participating vendors showing up and hanging out at this years Corntobeerfest! You guys brought some awesome treats, fun merch, and how about West Plainfield Fire Station with their delicious BBQ! We sure hope to have you all back! Please support these local small shops by giving them a follow!
Long dog race:
Congratulations to the fastest long dog at Corntobeerfest, Ozzy!! Ozzy is the reigning champ, but you bet it was a close race with Elwood on his tail! Definitely an event highlight!
Steinholding:
The steinholding contest has become a fan favorite over the past couple years! Congrats to our women’s winner, Kelly Cisneros, with a time of 2:14!
The men’s winner was our returning champ from last weekend,Timmy Robben, with an impressive time once again of 4:45! As tough as it looked, we’re pretty sure he could have gone for another few minutes!
We decided to throw in a kid’s plastic steinholding competition again since it was so fun last weekend! Way to go Joshua and Kahlee!
Costume:
The costumes were in full effect at the farm for Corntobeerfest! We loved seeing you guys all dressed up! Congrats to our first place winner, Duckie, and runner-up, Katharine!
Music:
Thank you to the always entertaining James Drips for kicking off Corntobeerfest with some tunes, and the talented duo of Jason Weeks & Justin Barnes for closing out the night! We love listening to you fellas and enjoyed having you at the farm for Corntobeerfest!
Cornhole Tournaments:
Cornhole tournaments at Corntobeerfest are a no-brainer! Thanks to the many participants that showed up and made both the social and competitive tournaments fun to watch!

Skydivers:
How cool is it to be located right across the street from a skydiving company?! Just take a look at the photos from Corntobeerfest where the SkyDance SkyDiving dropped in to the farm!! Such a cool experience for us onlookers! So fun! Thank you!
